Lawn Mowing Service

In general the mowing season is April 1 - October 31st. However, we use experience, and common sense to start and end the season when the weather dictates. 

Once a week! If your yard is healthy, being watered properly, and being fertilized properly it will need to be mowed once a week. No more than 1/3 of the total grass height should be cut at a given time. Waiting longer than a week can stress the grass and cause damage. Yes in the summer it doesn't grow as much, we don't give discounts or skip in the summer unless its completely dead because we don't charge extra in the spring when it grows crazy! We mow once a week, for one flat rate.

We use a combination of push, stand on, and riding mowers depending on the operator, and site conditions. If operated properly, bigger equipment does not damage a yard because the larger tires provide more surface area and less compaction.

We will either mow the day before, or the days to follow. We will send update emails if mowing will not be completed on your assigned day.

No, we will cut the grass once usually. Sometimes in the spring we have to cut it multiple times to make it look good. No extra charge to you 🙂 just extra work and effort we put in during the spring to make your yard look spectacular! We don't have for several reasons including: lower cost to customers, better lawn health, and we would have A TON of grass. On occasion we will bag due to long grass length, or tight areas but this is not the norm and is only done in rare circumstances.

We require dog waste be picked up prior to our visit. Since we give you a specific day of the week to expect us for mowing its easy to have it cleaned. We have to have yard waste cleaned up because it poses a health risk to our crew and the next customer we service after you. If your yard waste isn't picked up we will remind you multiple times but eventually will either charge a $25 fee to cover cleaning the machine at your house with your hose, and/or discontinue service. 

Almost always our machines fit through gates. We do our best to shut them after service, but we are not perfect. Please help us out and check your gate on our service days before letting pups back into the yard.

Unfortunately we would not be able to help with temporary mowing. We can only handle a certain number of customers per crew, so we aim to fill those customer spots with long term mowing customers. This allows us to be more efficient, thus keeps costs down and quality up.
